Q.     If I want to share my news;       What equipment do I need?

A.      You don't need any equipment.      Just show up at our studio and we'll take good care of you and do the rest.    For our location Click Here

Q.     My family and friends are scattered across the globe and live in different cities.     Can they view my broadcast at their location?

A.      They certainly can!    All they need to do is find a a computer with internet access and log in to the broadcast reception site we provide for you.    Sample Here   Speakers are required to hear you.

Q.     Can I broadcast from my home or office?

A.      You certainly may!    We give you the login name and you start broadcasting.   Nothing to download or install.    Just log in and use.     You will need a camera and microphone to broadcast.

Q.     What skills are needed to operate the system?

A.      None!      Just sit and speak normally to your friends.

Q.      Can my viewers speak back to me?

A.      This is a typical Cable TV broadcast and is one way only.     Our exclusive "Chat" feature lets all viewers interact with the host and all the other viewers.       For an introduction to "Chat"   Click Here.

Q.      Do I need a reservation or may I arrive at your studio and start broadcasting?

A.     A reservation is definitely needed.    You'll want to let viewers know about your broadcast in advance.

Q.      What's a typical use for a Globespan Internet Broadcast?

  • Q.      I already use a service that lets me have audio video conversations.     Why should I pay to use your service?

    A.     Your viewers may be watching your broadcast at a cyber-cafe, library or school and not be subscribers to the same service as you.     Your Globespan broadcast can be viewed on any computer with an internet connection, (Mac or PC). without subscribing or downloading anything.

    Q.      How do I let my friends know about my broadcast?

    A.      The usual way is to send them an emailed invitation or letter and give them the time, date and where to log in to receive your broadcast.

    Q.      Can anyone view my webcast.?

    A.      We provide you with your own unique, one time, log-in location and you will probably only give the viewing location to those you wish to view your broadcast.    Anyone can view your broadcast but only if they know when & where to "tune in".

    Q.      Are there any content restrictions for broadcasting?

    A.      Globespan attempts to accommodate all tastes.       Management does reserve their right of editorial veto over content.      We will not engage in illegal activities.
